Explore the technical service aspects of serials with emphasis on ordering, tracking and cataloguing. Evaluate the impact of technology on serial collections. This is a required course in the Mohawk College Library and Information Technician Diploma.

Descriptive and Access Cataloguing I (LIBRLT302) or LIBR10042 Resource Description and Access. OSSD general or advanced level, with a pass standing in Grade 12 English at the general level OR successful completion of Mature Student Test. Library related experience is strongly recommended
